Tips for people with thin hair

Yes i know if you are a person out there who has thin hair and is dreaming of having luscious and thick hair well this will give u all the tips i use to volumise my hair.

1. Try not to brush your hair to vigorously as it will snap your hair and it will become thinner. Especially don't do this when your hair is wet as your hair is very fragile when wet.

2. Try not to tease your hair to often as this is bad for your hair.

3. Use a volumising shampoo. I am not at the moment, i am using the mega shampoo (silly me for not sticking to my own rules).

4. If you have quite oily hair, try not using conditioner because it might make your hair very greasy as it does to mine. And when most of you wash your hair you put conditioner all over your head. Well that is not the way through this, you should only put conditioner (if you need it) in the strands and end of your hair.

5. Finally when you get your hair cut always think about the consequences of this new doo. Because one time i didn't and came out of the hairdressers with a block fringe which did not suit me or my hair at all, as my hair is thin all of my hair split into there own little groups so it did not look like a block fridge at all.

Because our hair is thin we don't want to put loads and loads of product into our hair cause it will weigh it down and make it look kinda greasy i know it is gross. But it has to be said me and holly have seen some bad hair days but we stick to these routines for our own hair and we have never see a bad hair day since.

I hope these tips helped.

Tips for people with thick hair

So people with thin hair will think thick hair is a blessing, people with thick hair will think its a curse. I hate having such thick hair but i and have found out, that oh its not that bad! Here are some of my tips for having thick hair|

1. Dont wash your hair so often! Now i have never been one to love washing my hair so i usually wash my hair 2-3 times a week amd you might think, 'ewww gross' but actually we werent made to wash our hair with shampoo and use conditioner and heat protectant ....etc but what im tring to say is that your hair is only producing more and more oil because you are washing all that good natural oil that your scalp makes out so ten it makes more and more and more and you just have to break that vicious circle and it will be so much esier. Maybe for the first month you will need to invest in a dry shampoo (i recomend battiste) but once you break that cycle it will become a lot esier to manage your hair.

I use:
Batiste dry shampoo-original
Loreal Elvive colour protect caring conditioner (i usually just use what ever my Mum buys and this is alright but i prefer the aussie 3 minite miricle conditioner)
TRESemme deep cleansing shampoo.

2. Let your hair air dry, It is much helthier for your hair that to use he heat of your blow drier and also you dont have to bother with drying your hair ethier. But if you have to get up to go to work or school that day try taking your shower in the evening before you go to bed i just put a small towel over my pillow to stop it getting all wet and horrile.

3. When you next go to the hairdressers ask your stylist to thin out your hair for you, this will make your hairmuch more lightweight and easy to controll. If you arent going to the hairdressers soon there are some great tips for doing it yourself on youtube.

4. This isnt a tip but something great about having thick hair is that if you have your hair long you can create great top knots with out all the back combing and all the teasing and tweaking, you can just throw it up andit looks great with loads of volume in the bun its self.

Best and worst drugstore products

Best:

Soap and glory -The righteous butter-50ml-£2.50

It is very moisturising and smells lovely, we love the packaging and the price!

Natural collection lash curl mascara-Black-£1.99

This makes your eyelashes look super long and doesn't clump, the brush is nice with a tapered end and the price is amazing as it wont break the bank.

MUA blusher-shade 4 - £1

These blushes are very pigmented and looks lovely on the face and its only £1!

Maybeline moisture extreme lipstick-royal red-£5.19

This is crazy pigmented and is a gorgeous fire engine red and is very moisturising as the name suggests.

Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner-black-£2.99

This is extremely black and the nib is very accurate because it comes to a fine point, the price is amazing and it comes in a range of shades.

MUA eyeshadow palette-heaven and earth-£4

In this palette there are 12 useful colours that all have very good pigmentation, they are neutral and have shimmer, the price is barmy for £4, so that makes it only 33p per eyeshadow!!!

MUA lip gloss-shade 3-£1

This is a lovely colour and looks great on the lips alone. The smell is to die for and smells very sweet, and again the price is amazing.

Rimmel stay glossy- fuchsia fever- £6.29

The pigmentation is fricken awesome and is a beautiful fuchsia colour, it is very glossy and the brush is really unique.

Bourjois chocolate bronzer-shade 52-£6.99

This product smells so much like chocolate, it is pretty darn good. We also like because it has no shimmer so you can contour with it.

collection 2000 smokey eyes palette-3 smokey- £4.19

The pigmentation is great and it has a lovely range of colour which you can do many looks with. The price is fantastic.

Worst:

Collection 2000 colour intense trio-7 night jewels-£2.99

The colours aren't the most wearable and are chalky and not the best pigmentation.

Collection 2000 kohl eyeliner- 20 kingfisher-£1.99

This eyeliner is not very pigmanted, it is not soft and is hard to use.

Elf regular and waterproof mascara duo-brown-£1.50

As you can see the photo shows how it got deliverd to my front door. It is all clumpy and unuseable.

Natural collection bronzer- golden glow-£1.99

It is very shimmery and will make you look like a glitter ball so it is hard to use as a contour. Also the packaging  is very cheap.

Loreal 6 hour glam shine lip gloss-forever nude-£8.69

This is not 6 hour wear it is about 30 minutes and as soon as you eat or drink it will come off. The colour is too sparkely for our liking although we do like the applicator.

Poundland chit chat tea tree concealer-light -£1

This concealer has a very bad coverage and a terrible colour range. Although it is a great eyeshadow base.

2true blush-shade 1-£1.99

This product is not very pigmentated and is quite chalky and when you look through the little window you think you are getting more product than you actually.

Body shop big and curvy mascara-black-£10

We do not particularly like this mascara as it smells awful. The packaging is pretty bad as the mascara is £10 and we think there are better at that price on the market.
